cool temps in arizona

this scene combined with cool temps in the 80s after days in bright sunshine in the 100s is how you become the victim of a shady sunburn. i know this fact yet my knee-pits are red &angry with sunburn because i forgot. i've put on sunscreen for every car day but yesterday only put it on my face (apparently not my forehead). arizona is not all a flat desert-y place (that's phoenix) and at elevation temps are generally cooler. monsoon is upon us which brings quick moving and often violent rainfall so these clouds can become gray &stormy. you can see the storms coming, but that doesn't mean it will rain where you are. a&i pulled over yesterday bc it was raining so hard (&the roads was not crowned), but arrived at shirley's house to find it hadn't rained there despite green &red radar forecasting it all around. hopefully we can stay with these cool temps as we move more towards the valley,
but we're not going to forget the sunscreen again!
