Bryce Canyon... some more

BC has been an interesting visit. Daytime highs have been high 70s & nighttime lows have been low 40s. It has rained most days including some impressive thunder &hail. The hoodoos here are spectacular (rock stacks that resist erosion in orange red white &pink) and there are great trails that wind up over & through them- just not many & they're not very long. Once again we hiked pretty much every doable trail &even visited nearby Kodachrome Basin for more hiking. Kodachrome was named by Nat'l Geographic photographers with permission of Kodak &features white bluffs striped with colors & other unique rock features. The thing with Utah is that there are big rock things - spires, mountains, canyons, whatever in every direction &they all look different &are made of different things. The geologic history here is complicated! Today we are crossing a lot of public land in a zig zag on the way to
Arches... fully expecting rangers to tell me I can't see stuff bc the Fiesta isn't 4wheel drive.
