KIWIS

This morning, after a breakfast of pancakes shaped in the letters of my name, I headed to Te Puke (tay poo-kay), kiwi capital of the world. I sampled some fruit (both the normal green kind and the special gold kind), some wine, some liqueur, and had my photo taken in front of the giant kiwi. I opted not to take the tour bc I didn’t think a tour of a farm was quite worth twenty dollars when I could walk five steps from my car and see kiwis growing on vines.
