christmas with the girls

junkets christmas traditions meet california - we used our christmas coloring books to make a mantle and fire to warm our hands with, ornaments for the tree, and other assorted christmas scenes. sugar cookies were baked and decorated with stick reindeer, skulls, and snowmen. hot mel baked a gourmet roast that was fabulous complete with hot lava cake and ice cream. we listened to the same christmas cd over and over again as we unwrapped presents and celebrated our new hoodies and fuzzy pants. and there was some serious laughter. my sides hurt and are still a bit sore... but it is nice to be with people you love who know you and get you. two favorite presents so far - new razors and new scandalous undies - why? think of the context that i have been wearing the same all purpose, backpacking clothes for three months. merry christmas!
