mental health hike

so i am moving this weekend. i still have lots and lot of things to pack (at least i feel like I do).

i have homework to read and post, two lectures to listen to, and an 8-10 midterm paper to write that i have not started. at least i have read some articles on the subject, but i still haven't started writing it.

grades are due Wednesday. i have club meetings on Tuesday and Thursday after school.

i am feeling a little overwhelmed. i decided that i was going hiking yesterday anyway. i really wanted to go last weekend but it was rainy cold and dreary. i got up and graded papers and then hit the road.

and i am glad that i did even though i took the wrong fork and didn't end up where i wanted to anyway. it was a beautiful day to put some miles under your feet. i think i hiked 6-7 miles in a few hours, but i am not sure because i am not sure where i went. has anyone else ever seen PINK tree marks? i haven't but i can tell you where to find them now.

i tried a few times to take my picture in this log. it was harder than it looked bc i had only ten seconds and it was a longer log than it looks in this pic so it took some squirming.
