packing again... i'm pretty anal

so i packed my crap in mel's pack. repacked it in my bag and i think i finally have it packed in a way that makes sense to me and give me a little more room. we shall see i suppose. and i dont think i am forgetting anything and if i am ... well i will buy it when i think of it.

interviewed this morning for a job in cali - went really well i think. and then walked along the cliffs with hot mel... I am a master animal spotter. I saw two-three whales (probably humpbacks, maybe grays), some otters, and a harbor seal. and a whole pile of birds.

i have talked with laura the princess of the whales and emailed back and forth with her. she is going to get me for my 24 hour layover and i am going to see a bit of auckland before heading on to sydney and my australian adventure.

couchsurfing outlook is FANTASTIC. someone agreed to host me in sydney on supershort notice and i think i pretty much have people to see almost everywhere in australia i planned on stopping. that is pretty sweet and some of the people sound FAB. i am kind of more excited about the couch surfing than some of the places i plan on visiting - is that strange? especially the family in mission beach. :)
