last day in yellowstone

this is aaron with the emerald pool at black sand basin in yellowstone. this morning we slept in, had a greasy breakfast, & headed to lone star geyser. on the way we saw 3 wolves chasing & attacking a bison (from the car)! it was a 2.5mile hike to a geyser that spouts every 3 hours. we were early so we went moose hunting, but to no avail. we sat relaxing in the shade swatting flies waiting for the geyser. it gurgled & spat for 15min before sending up a forty foot spray for a good 15 min. after that we drove all the way back around & out the northeast entrance in MT. we took the beartooth & chief joseph scenic highways winding thru the abskaroskas. we are now in cody watching the rains sweep across the plains. tomorrow is buffalo bill, the rodeo, laundry, and writing a paper that was due yesterday.
