greetings from the bison herd in grand teton national park! this morning we secured our warmth by purchasing fleeces & fleece sleeping bag liners after aaron checked the weather & we learned it will be 32 this week in yellowstone. we got bagels & coffee & went off to teton to follow the pink highlighted line on our map as well as wonder what she was referencing with all those pink dots. at first we were dissapointed with the wildlife viewing she promised, but we did see some small herds of bison at a distance. antelope flat road was the bison bonanza. the mommas, calves, & a few bulls were on both sides of the roads & crossing it too. they were less than 10 feet from the car but aaron did not think one coming to breathe in the window would be funny. i did. we drove around admiring the views, secured a campsite (good thing bc they're full now) and headed to jenny lake. we walked around
the whole thing with hidden falls and inspiration point - 5 hours & about 11 miles. tired, but happy.
