dinner at deschutes brewery (brew#3 for kim, #2 for aaron). survived camping, though chilly. aaron's coffee skills are getting better and voodoo donuts still rock! spent the day at newberry volcano natl monument. got to hike thru some aa and drive up a cinder cone. saw some volcanic tree casts and did a super awesome hike thru mounds of glassy obsidian and holey pumice. camping again this evening and taking the scenic route to crater lake tomorrow. will update blog with a computer at some point (but for now texting from phone rocks).
