mel and i were still totally skeptical as we watched the first demonstration - two people standing on level boards (and they were level bc i saw the bubble in the stanley yellow and black level) changing height bc one side was in the mystery spot and one was out. we didnt volunteer... but we of course tried it out as the tour moved on - and yes it worked. we were amazed again and again. i volunteered my chapstick to watch it roll uphill; i dangled my camera to see if it too was too heavy to push up the hill; mel got volunteered for a lot of things bc she was the tallest and she shrunk about four times in demonstrations (though she still seems taller than me so it must not have had any long term effects).
leading theory to the cause for the mystery spot? there is a UFO crash landed in the hill and the motor is still running. riiiight. but you know they could be.
so i start yet again on a road trip, though i will be back tomorrow, and to commemorate another trip begun, a yellow mystery spot sticker will adorn my bumper.
aaaaaaaah the mystery spot ... the only thing more romantic is the shawshank redemption. ;)
ReplyDeleteglad you enjoyed it !! it's so weird !
now you'll have to become certified in physics so that you can explain it all. i hope you took more pictures_i want to be amazed too!
ReplyDeletewas it a ripoff to be amazed? isn't that a contradiction? and...now i guess you are more AMAZING!
