we had to drive a little out of the way to stop in ohakune... but it was a ncessary stop bc i needed this picture for karrie, my orange sister. you can read the trials and tribulations of being orange in her blog linked at the bottom.

Saw a GlobeTrekker about NZ on pbs the other day and sounds like the trek you are starting. very beautful and unique scenery. Enjoy and be safe, and there are no instructions. Good Luck, Love, Dad
