last night it rumbled& rained. we cleared out of the campground just before the next showers began. our first stop was the old red mill to view a snowflake exhibit from the pioneer of taking micrographs of fresh flakes. his name escapes me. as we headed south we decided spontaneously to take the vermont teddy bear factory tour on whim. we didn't need any teddybears but the tour was punny& amusing. we stopped at a wildflower farm that could use some better designing & secured a campsite next to a mini waterfall. vermont's marble museum had lots of info, historic photos, sculptures, &samples from around the world. we poked around there admiring every color of marble. every building in that town has marble blocks or facades- even the bridge. thunderstorms continue to roll in so we are at a local eatery playing cribbage &drinking coffee until bedtime. tmw-NH here we come!
if you are curious about these short posts- internet has been very limited &i have been texting them in (1000 limit).
