The fireplace is finished!

Today I did the second coat on the bricks and I was right blue on blue was hard to tell especially because it was a gray day. To solve this problem I pretty much just used a lot of paint- nice thick coats.

Now that I have peeled the tape off and have a good look at my work I think I did pretty awesome. I love the blue shade Aaron picked out and really think the room looks transformed. I also think I'm going to need to touch up some of the white and that whoever painted the bricks maroon in the first place did a crappy job. That room is now done and I think I'm going to set the Christmas tree up in there just in time for Christmas!
